Drawing on the decades of combined experience in both Virtual Construction (BIM) and Structural Steel Detailing the Axis team has earned its strong standing as a leader in national and international building construction. Our professional managers and detailers have over 200 work-years of combined training, experience, and award winning work.
HISTORY
our Story
Founded by Rob Schoen in 2008, Axis Steel Detailing, LLC. has grown from seven steel detailers to an experienced team of +30 employees offering steel detailing, point scanning, engineering, and consulting services.
Over the last decade, we have outgrown our office three times, won many industry awards, and been featured in +20 industry publications. We have also faced many challenges during this time. But, through it all we have placed an emphasis on continual learning and adapting the most cutting edge technologies and techniques to ensure the success of our projects. This has allowed us to quickly pivot and adapt to the ever-changing steel landscape. We are confident that the next ten years will be better than the last as we continue to focus on this strategy.
